This paper is an experimental study on the heat transfer phenomenon of water boiling and evaporation flowing in small diameter tubes with an inner diameter in the order of millimeters. Water was used as a working fluid, which is a natural refrigerant, and clarified its characteristics.

In the peer review, it was pointed out that the measurement error of the temperature measuring instrument (thermocouple) used in this study was only ± 0.05 ° C, which may be due to the wrong order, and is usually about ± 0.2 ° C.
In our laboratory, by using a thermometer that can measure temperature with high accuracy by using the triple point of water and mercury and the freezing point of tin and zinc as the mother machine, all the thermocouples purchased for use in the experiment can be used were previously calibrated.

The measurement accuracy of the high-precision thermometer is about ± 0.001 ° C.

With this high-precision thermometer and knowing the temperature calibration, it is possible to use a normal thermocouple as a highly accurate corrected thermocouple.
In addition, the thermometer, which is the mother machine, is inspected and corrected once a year at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, so we are trying to maintain the reliability of the experimental equipment and the acquired data.
